Rock Child Artwork

I immediately was drawn in by this picture, once I had seen the thumbnail I HAD to see the details. I absolutely love the technique and details used that really makes this picture pop right off the page.

The only thing I can really think of to critique this is about the highlighting 'mist' around the shoulders and feet. The details almost seem muddied by it, I would suggest lowering the opacity around where it connects with the body of the boy, or moving that layer behind him but still above the base/background. The highlights add depth to it but it seems a little overly contrasting with the rest of the details in the body.

Overall the picture is wonderful, I love colour scheme and idea behind it, I'll definitely check out the rest of your gallery!
